Ancaster, Ontario – Hello from Arnie and Milap! Our beloved Taj Mahal Spices and Cheese has been open for five years now, and we so appreciate all of the support you’ve given us over the years. Now, we’re delighted to announce that we are rebranding to better reflect the evolution of our business. We are bidding a fond farewell to Taj Mahal, and we have decided to rename our store Ancaster Cheese & Fine Foods.
While our location has not changed, we have decided that it was time to find a name that matches our values as a business; working with our community, and supporting local businesses. We love our location in Ancaster Village, and we’re hoping that this name change will bring us even closer to our community, here in The Village. We have plenty of new surprises coming soon, including an expanded collection of deli foods.
We may be changing our name, but our values have not changed. “Come as a customer, leave as a friend,” has always been our motto, and that remains the same. We look forward to seeing our old friends, as well as making a few new ones.
We know it’s not always possible for you to visit us in person during COVID-19, so we hope our brand new website will help you to find the items you need while still staying safe.
Lastly, The Ancaster Cheese & Fine Foods would like to recognize the help and support we received from local Hamilton youth, facilitated through Centre[3]. We appreciate all of your hard work!
